Promoting ethical research practices, scientific integrity, and the responsible conduct of research.
The Research Ethics Committee (REC) at AHEPP has been created to promote and secure ethics in research at AHEPP. It implements ethical principles through advice on ethical issues, approval of proposals, and follow-up on research progression.
The main ethical principles include respect for persons, beneficence, justice, integrity, informed consent, confidentiality and data protection, and disclosure of any conflict of interest.
Research Ethics Application Forms, Informed Consent, Conflict of Interest, and other relevant documents are available to support researchers throughout the research process.
At least one of the applicants should be a member of AHEPP.
